Mike began running tournaments in 1999 with the purpose of running high-quality basketball events associated with great competition and a fun experience for all players and coaches. Mike has run numerous spring, summer and fall events/tournaments over the past 8 years. For the last 5 seasons, Mike has directed the Uconn Ultimate Wave Challenge in Storrs CT which has sold out in each of the past 4 years. Mike's tournaments use only board certified IAABO officials, run on comfortable 1hour and 15 minute or more time blocks and are competitively balanced. Partnering with Swish Sporting Events, Mike now has access to only the best multiple hardwood (Full Size 84 ' or longer) court facilities in the North Central CT and Western Massachusetts. Mike continues to incorporate, athletic trainers, clinics, camps, athlete appearances, awards, and many other extras in all his events.
